From the Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King, we present the King of the Dead's Crown 1/4 scale prop replica.
This amazing scaled prop replica is the next to Follow in Sideshow~Weta's Helm Series. Intricately detailed by the following undead artist, Dave Tremont of Weta Workshop. He has faithfully captured the ancient King's weathered Crown.
A legend is told that long ago, the King of Dunharrow swore allegiance of his army forever to the last King of Gondor. However, in Gondor's cry for aid, this King and his army broke their oath and instead fled into the darkness of the mountains. As a result of their betrayal, Isildur cursed this King and his army to spend eternity as a specter, never to rest until their oath was fulfilled. Now haunting the Paths of the Dead at the base of Dunharrow's lifeless pathway, he bears still a war-crown that once he had worn in life. A sour reminder of his royal betrayal to be forever worn until he and his army are called upon once again by the King of Gondor.
The King of the Dead's Crown is hand cast in real metal alloys, then hand painted and finished to exacting standards which Sideshow~Weta is famous for. The Crown stands an impressive 7" in height & weighs approximately 3 lbs. boxed. It sits atop a 'Chess Piece' style display base.
