This listing is for a Beautiful and Rather Unusual CURVED Calling Card Case.
This item has a wonderful Scroll, Floral and Shield Design on it.
This item was recently purchased from an estate.

MATERIAL: Sterling Silver, and there is a gilt interior on this case
SIGNED: There is a monogram on the front of this item (looks like RBP), and on the inside edge it is marked STERLING with a makers mark (this mark was used by WEBSTER who were located in North Attleboro Massachusetts since c1894.
DIMENSIONS: This item measures about 3 3/8" x 1 7/8" outside dimensions at the largest points.
This case is too SMALL to hold a typical sized business card - the largest card it will hold measures about 3" x 1 13/16" or so.

WEIGHT: 36.1 grams
CONDITION: The silver has some dings, Dents (see corner), dimples nicks, scratches/scuffs, wear and imperfections in some areas.
the silver has some patina, tarnish and discoloration in some areas as well and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in some areas (if desired).
