Jeffrey Archer signed postcard 1979 to prankster Henry Root with one pound note. These unique original items came from the estate of bestselling author William Donaldson (aka Henry Root - check on Google for more info about his notorious life - he was quite a character) - auctioned by his widow. You can learn more about the auction, which was heavily publicized, via this link: http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/791775/Henry-Root-letters-to-Queen-auctioned-expected-raise-4000. He sent out letters to various celebrities and organisations - mostly in 1979 and 1980 - and often included a one pound note. This lot consists of a signed reply (postcard connected to his latest book) from Jeffrey Archer along with the original envelope and the returned one pound note. See pics for condition. I have lots more from the collection on auction - postage can be very economically combined - if you click on Buy It Now you should be able to wait before actually paying  - thus, please wait for me to send a combined invoice! Failing that I will refund any excess postage - trust me! I will send in a stiff Do Not Bend card envelope.
