A leaf from a octavo-sized portable Psalter, from Germany, containing Psalm 68, referred to as the "Salva me" (save me) poem. which addresse the sufferings of Jesus during His life. It was traditionally associated with the greatness of Christ during His Passion and of the malice of His persecutors. The 1460 leaf is in Latin, on fine vellum and measures 140 mm x 95mm. There is a single column featuring nineteen lines of Gothic Script. In addition to the rubric at the beginning of the Psalm (abbreviated as ps), the large and heavily decorated initial "S" further serves as an organizational tool by acting as a chapter heading.
