Ken Griffey Jack/Spades 1990 US Playing Card SILVER Item is Near Mint or better

This card is from the very limited SILVER SERIES parallel set.

A standard deck of playing cards with extra Jokers and Wild cards. The 1990 card backs have BLUE 'pinstripes' on a white background. The second scan image shows a side view of the 1991 'red striped' Silver set.

SILVER SERIES parallel sets were issued this year and also for 1991. Identical to the regular USPC set on both front and back, BUT the Silver Series cards' EDGES have silver FOIL. While the foil is very noticeable when looking at the edges of a set, the 'shiny' silver foil edge is somewhat less obvious on a single card. Of course USPC regular cards have 'dull' white edges. So easy to see the difference when comparing regular and Silver Foil cards.

The 1990 and 1991 Silver Series parallel sets are noted in the Beckett Annual guides although no value or multiplier is suggested for these limited cards.
