Our 2007 Honda Civic SE, is a smart 1.4 litre model which is both cheap to run and highly practical. This model of Civic was launched in 2006 and was an extremely bold and futuristic design. From the space-age body design to the hidden rear door handles - this car dares to be different. However, under the skin it is also a highly practical and capable family car with a spacious interior and a generous 485 litre boot. This 1.4 litre model, is one of the cheapest models to run with 47 mpg fuel economy, as well as cheap road tax of just £130 a year. This is an SE model with a superb specification which includes climate controlled air-conditioning.

Finished in metallic silver, which suits the cars futuristic styling perfectly - It certainly looks the part. The Civic is a futuristic looking car, with some very neat design touches. The car looks wide and squat, with a sporty stance and "Hidden" rear door handles which give it the smooth lines of a 3 door, with the practicality of a 5 door. On the subject of door handles, the ones up front look like something you would find on a 1950's American Fridge, and have a gloriously tactile feel. Inside out have a wide and spacious cabin with a futuristic digital dashboard, complete with rev-counter and an multifunction computer. There is a red "start" button to fire up the engine, which is a neat touch - This model of Civic is a lot wider, than its predecessors' and it feel a lot more spacious than its rivals, which impressed me. The Civic has climate control as well as a handy trip computer.

These cars are smooth and quiet motorway cruisers which, thanks to a 6 speed manual gearbox, offer excellent performance as well as economy. Handling is excellent, with a smooth, well dampered ride combined with Hondas traction and stability control for safe, well balanced handling on all road conditions. I personally find these cars a lot more involving and entertaining to drive than their rivals. Being a Honda, this is also among the most reliable cars on road with trustworthy mechanicals which will stand the test of time - I have driven Civics with 200k miles on the clock before now and they never miss a beat even at that mileage, so a 74k example like this still performs like new.

Our 2007 car has recently arrived as a part exchange - Having driven it over 200 miles I can confirm that she performs superbly and the whole car feels willing and eager to please - It rides and handles superbly, showing very little sign of any adverse wear. You can bid with confidence secure in the knowledge that we would not want anything less than 100% customer satisfaction (see feedback for evidence of this). Viewing is recommended to fully appreciate what a fine example this is. Hopefully the supersize photos will do the car some justice but in all honesty it really does need to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated...

TEST DRIVE;

I have always been a fan of Hondas - The motor trade have always regarded these cars as the most reliable and well built cars on the market, and with the superb 1.4 litre I-DSI powerplant, that reliability is combined with fantastic fuel economy. That powerplant is an absolute gem, producing 80bhp but never feeling strained - It actually feels like a far more powerful unit than the figures suggest as it is very refined. The car is extremely quiet and with 6 gears it cruises effortlessly. Driven smoothly, this car will deliver you near to 50 mpg fuel economy, with the official combined figure of 46 mpg easily achievable.

With such a reputation for reliability and longevity, it came as no surprise that our Civic still drives like new. The whole car has a quality feel and is exceptionally refined. The ride and handling are also superb with safe, predictable handling and excellent ride comfort. Honda, as a manufacturer are famed for their excellent build quality and this is a car that feels solid the moment you get behind the wheel. The interior is constructed of high quality materials that are well put together - the whole car feels as though it were built to last. Whilst the Civic is fairly compact for a 5 door family car (it is about the same size as a Focus or Golf) you get all the benefit of a large saloon with a solid stance and the feeling that this car is well planted on the road. You will always feel safe and secure behind the wheel. 

This car comes fully equipped with both ABS brakes and traction control. Few cars combine this level of comfort, performance and economy as well as a Civic and NO other car in this class has combines this level of quality with the distinctive looks of our Civic.

We try and be very accurate in our descriptions, so I have a good look around every car before we list them so that I can describe the condition as accurately as possible. Whilst the condition of a used car is always going to be a matter of opinion I will try to be as accurate and in-partial as possible. This is a genuine 74k mile car with a partial service history which is listed below. It has had 3 owners in total and it is in all-round good condition. There are no dents, no nasty scratches and no sign of any abuse. However, in keeping with the age and mileage there will be the odd light scratch and stone chip as you would expect on any used car. Hondas reliability is legendary and the Civic has been proven to be more than capable of high mileages without anything more than routine maintenance. The car is mechanically A1 with a lovely smooth engine and a fast, and satisfying gear change. I did notice some adverse wear to the cars handbrake - some of the grey coating has been chipped away to reveal the white plastic beneath it - This looks to be caused by a previous owners jewelry and is purely cosmetic - A minor flaw in an otherwise clean and well presented interior.

I have already had this car inspected by our workshops prior to sale to ensure you can bid with complete peace of mind. All levels will be checked on the car prior to sale for your complete peace of mind and the car will be supplied with a long MOT until April 2015.
