Vintage LEA STEIN Paris geometric plastic, acetate cellulose Pin Brooch. Long geometric shape with laminated pattern in assorted sunny tones of purple, orange, red, saffron and white. Lea Stein develops a process of layering very thin sheets of cellulose acetate (also called rhodoid) and laminating them to form a "multi-colored sandwich of plastic". This geometric pin is exactly that process and you can see the beautiful colors come through from each layer. Signed at the back. Very good vintage condition.
