ANTIQUE REPRODUCTION E.J. JUMEAU

PORCELAIN DOLL

This wonderful 22” reproduction doll is from the French Emile Jumeau Company.  Dolls with the initials EJ were produced  for only a short period of time, circa 1881-85, making them more rare.  Larkin is marked E8J.  This lovely doll is on leather body, with porcelain breastplate and arms.  Her gown is a day dress in airy sheer light tan silk organza from the late 1870’s.  This bustled gown is trimmed with yards and yards of fluted and gathered flounces. She also has a corset and boned bustle.  She has a mohair wig, glass Hand eyes, pierced ears with earrings and her boots are of leather. Her accessories are the waist chatelaine, her flowered fan, and special doll stand.

This porcelain doll is hand painted and costumed by an award winning Doll Artisan Guild Instructor and holder of the Triple Crown of Dollmaking.  Becca has personally signed and dated this exquisite doll thus making it a wonderful porcelain treasure for your doll collection.

While this lovely doll has been in my care, she has been in a smoke-free environment.
