Hi welcome to my listings. Today I have the pleasure of offering you This  Signed Peter Holmes   Paperweight  Cascade,   measures approx 3   inches X 4.5   inches.

Approximately twelve years ago I had an inquiry from a lady in New Zealand  concerning a paperweight Rainbow Cascade which Peter Holme made at Caithness Glass  Peter made the original Rainbow cascade at Caithness glass in 1974 - 75,   I could not source the original paperweight so I asked the lady if she wanted me to ask Peter Holmes to make her one similar at Scottish Borders Art Glass ( Not the original Cascade) ,  she agreed and I asked Peter,  Peter made me Two Weights,  the lady bought the first weight and I was left with the second,  both unsigned,  I think that it created confusion among collectors as the were unsigned,  so I took the weight to my friend Peter Holmes and asked him to sign the weight.  the weight is now signed by Peter.

I am a long time friend of Peter Holmes,  My wife was a glass finisher at Selkirk Glass and also a long time friend of Peter,

I understand Peter also made a similar weight at Selkirk glass in the 90s
