Vintage BULOVA 17 Jewel Watch 1943
Vintage Bulova Men's wristwatch featuring a 10k Rolled Gold Plate Bezel Base Sterling with a Stainless Steel Back; 17 Jewel; 10BA movement~The Bulova 10 BA is based on the Swiss made ETA 900. By 1952 the center sweep second version were renamed Bulova 10BAC and ETA 926 to differentiate from the subdial second hand model. New Band. Runs Excellent--movement looks beautiful. Overall watch is excellent with no wear-through of gold, and only a small scratch on plastic crystal. ORIGINAL DIAL With an attractive patina. Gunmetal Blue hands (hard to tell in images) with luminous centers of hour and minute hands.
Movement marked: Bulova Watch Co U.S.A. / 17 SEVENTEEN JEWELS SWISS / Unadjusted / 10BA within a rectangular frame. Snap on back case marked inside BULOVA / 10k Rolled Gold Plate Bezel / Base Sterling / / Stainless Back / NEW YORK ~ Exterior has the serial number 3601535. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Length lug to lug 33mm. Width 26mm. without crown. (just over an inch).
9.5mm thick.
