BACKGROUND:
Edward Windsor Kemble (January 18, 1861 – September 19, 1933) was an American illustrator, best known for illustrating Mark Twain's 1880s novel Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Kemble is best remembered for his cartoons of African Americans.

CONDITION:
Condition is Fair/Good. Wear to edges/boards/spot on back, inscription verso first end page and to upper contents page, two pages have tattered edges, light blemishing to end pages/title page, crease/slice at bottom edge to last end page, most pages/hinges/text block are very good for over 120 years old!!!
