Beyond rare, & have not seen another in years in this collosal 13.5cm square by 6.3cm box

A stunning slab sided early bottle which replicates those created by Baccarat for Patous early parfums (but this was not made by Baccarat) the bottle has the early marbled faux tortoiseshell screw lid , the gold font printed directly onto the bottle & also has a separate golden atomiser, note the fine golden print to the box, all which denotes the earlier design

To say this smells quite simply jawdroppingly, heartbreakingly out of this world magnificent comes nowhere close to being able to describe this accurately, & I have fallen head over heals in love with this, for it is extraordinary.  First you are hit by a blast of woodland violets, then the magical drydown adds a smokey soft oakmossy magic, & possesses extraordinary longevity

Not to be confused with the later barcoded similar item which is different formula. Pre barcode mat-satin (not embossed box) outer box, so at least 35 years old, with stunning inner deep chestnut & gold trimmed box. A very early 1980's bottle & packaged prior to mandatory barcoding which came into play in the early 1980's, due to rarety this could make an exceptional lavish gift
