Reemtsma Ashtray

This distinctive ashtray, exquisitely made by Rosenthal as an advertising item for Reemtsma tobacco company of Hamburg, Germany, is in very good condition. It is 5" in diameter with a smooth ivory body with gold trim on cobalt blue. There is very minor gold wear on the center platform and a tiny flea bite on the exterior gold trim. The backstamp is green and was in use from 1908 until the early 1950s.
