brand new stunning black satin evening dress dress

purchased dress a few years ago, but dress was never worn and remains at back of wardrobe. now it is far too small and needs a new home

empire line dress in a luxurious high shine thick black satin fabric

cross-over front and back panelling

wide band under bust-line

then lower skirt gradually flares out into an A-line shape

at hem of lower skirt is intricate applique embroidered panelling in lurex gold, silver, bronze, and green tones (emerald green, moss and pale leaf green)

the applique panelling is very thick and gives some stiffness to the lower part of the dress, assisting it to maintain its shape

absolutely beautiful design and looks a million pounds on. certainly one to stand out from the crowd. great for the festive party season

fully lined in a polyester elastane mix fabric

concealed side fastening zip

width across armpit to armpit, un-stretched;  16 1/2"/42.5cms

width across band under bust-line, un-stretched:  15"/38.5cms

material gently gathers across front of waist and secures on left side of waist

wrap folds across bodice and lower skirt, right to left. on lower skirt is a gentle curving of both edges of the fabric

underneath dress is a control slip, which gives support and hold to tummy area. see picture, slip has a cami top with adjustable straps.  the slip is held in place with 2 individual popper fasteners & loop straps sown underneath and onto the shoulder padding of the dress 

3/4 sleeves with button detail at cuff. spare button attached to inside label

dress falls below knee level
