Seller's Notes:

I am not a watch expert but have sold and currently listing some wonderful items to the great people of eBay.  This is the exact item you will receive.  It is in OK- good antique shape.  The balance wheel does move a little when you shake it but this watch could have great parts or maybe even restoration possibilities.  Here is the breakdown.  Enjoy....

Crystal- heavy hairline scratches throughout, cloudy but you can still see the dial

Bezel- I did not remove the bezel as it seems hard to open. Hairline scratches, toning, light nics, scuffs- nothing major.

Roman Numeral Dial- Some hairline, light toning, dirt in crevices, spotting- but looks very good given its age.  Since I did not remove the bezel I cannot tell you about the rims.  Number marks looks very good.

Hands- all hands are present.  Look very good- nice color.

Philadelphia Watch Case Co Silverode Size 18 Open Face Case- Overall in OK shape- toning, spotting, hairline/heavier hairline scratches, dirt in crevices, small nics and rough spots- -.  Back cover does unscrew with no issues.  For the most part it does not look bad.  Hallmarks on back cover- Philadelphia Watch Case Co, Silverode

Grade 1 Waltham 7 Jewel Gold Tone Movement-  Given its age it looks good- very good- gold tone has fading, toning, dirt in crevices.  Please check to see if all jewels are complete. 

Crown-  Pulls out to move hands back and for with no issues.  Does not wind watch as it is would all of the way BUT it does turn counter clockwise.  Toning fading, dirt in crevices. 

Bow/Stem- Bow is flimsy- toning, hairline scratches, warping.  Does not stand up by itself. Stem has dirt in crevices and toning. 

WORKINGS- THE WATCH DOES NOT WORK.  WHEN YOU SHAKE THE WATCH THE BALANCE WHEEL DOES MOVE A LITTLE.  THE SECOND HAND DOES NOT MOVE. 

Would make a very nice part or possibly restoration project as these massive pocket watches are highly collectible.
