I will continue to use these skills and have recommended this book to many colleagues who purchased it As a combat trauma therapist I needed this book! I had been experiencing some unhelpful feelings while at work and found myself isolating at home after work and on the weekends. I felt mentally exhausted. After reading this book, I realized controlled empathy was changing my brain chemistry. I have used the strategies outlined in this book and have seen a positive difference in my life.
