The Lamson Liquid Reel is a quality pressure die cast reel that offers incredible price and performance value. The Liquid utilises the same super smooth, strong drag found in all Lamson reels.

The Liquid is available as a single reel or as a pack containing a reel and two additional spare spools.

Let’s face it, die cast reels are intended to be low cost alternatives to a machined reel, right? Imported, heavier, easier to damage, plain Jane, etc. Well . . . not necessarily. When we started creating Liquid we focused purely on the virtues and advantages a pressure-cast process can

offer.

Structurally you can do things with casting that you can’t machine, such as full radiused compound curves, near zero-radius inside corners, and for precise fit and finish you can go back and machine the cast part in critical areas amplifocess.

We pushed back on other boundaries as well. How much of a reel at this price can we make here in the U.S.? Quite a lot as it turns out, and it’s a good mix. These high quality castings are imported, but the components critical to the drag system are CNC-machined here in the U.S. Liquid reels are assembled in Boise alongside our highest priced reels. Nudging out a worthy old war horse like Konic wasn’t easy. It took a blank sheet of paper and sharp electrons. Enjoy the best of all worlds.
