A large clear glass Victorian penny lick ice cream glass with large pad foot base used by street vendors to serve ice cream at the cost of a one penny or two penny serving. After licking the glass clean the customer would return it to the vendor who would reuse it (often unwashed) to serve ice cream to the next customer. They fell out of use due to the resulting hygiene problems and were replaced by the wafer cone in the early 20th century.

This an example of a larger tuppenny lick and the base is marked with a letter " T " to denote the size.
