This 110V charger handles AAA, AA, C, D and even 9V batteries in NiCd, NiMH, and Rechargeable Alkaline (RAM) technologies. Capacity is (8) AAA or AA at a time, or (4) C or D, or a single 9V. You can even use different size/type batteries within the separate bays - this smart charger has a microprocessor which determines battery type and provides the proper charging regulation. Unit has four charging bays, each bay has an indicator light to show completion of charging - a trickle charge will then allow you to keep the batteries in the charger without worry of discharge. Charger also features a backup safety timer, charging will stop if your battery never reaches the proper voltage per the charging profile.
