Pale little Dandelion,
In her white shroud,
Heareth the angel-breeze
Call from the cloud;
Tiny plumes fluttering
Make no delay;
Little winged Dandelion
Soareth away.

There are lots of dandelions about just now, with their beautiful bright yellow flowers and silvery seedheads, so I was inspired to make some 'Dandelion' jewellery, and have taken it one step further, with the use of good quality components throughout: clear hand blown glass, solid antiqued brass and sterling-silver plated brass bead caps and Swarovski crystals and pearls. With this is mind, you will find my beautiful dandelion seed jewellery is easy to wear for any occasion; so dress it up or down, it looks great with everything!

For this gorgeous necklace, I have used genuine sterling silver components throughout, (even the headpins and jump rings).
I have used a hand blown 27x17mm hollow glass teardrop and filled it with tiny, silky dandelion seeds. This has been adorned with a beautiful 925 sterling silver bead cap, and neatly finished with sterling silver plated brass beehive end caps and an opal white Swarovski crystal bicone. The full length of the drop is 50mm (2in) approx. The high quality 925 sterling silver belcher chain is 18in and fastens with a matching sterling silver hook clasp.
