This unit is clean and looks great. The surface is without cracks, chips, gouges, abrasions, or worn spots. All sticker residue has been removed. However, since these are used items, there may be a few very small,  very faint, shallow scratches in the palm rest, touchpad and/or keyboard areas, and/or there may be some very minor abrading on edge of the unit. The Touch Pad cable is included.

Lets face it, if you are looking for a Top Panel replacement, then this unit is almost definately better (unless you are an absolute perfection type person) than your current Top Panel. If you need perfection: buy a new replacement, factory direct, for $102.37, plus shipping and handling (http://www.sparepartswarehouse.com/HP,Laptop,Part,431416001.aspx).

This is the common Top Cover for most dv6000 systems  without the finger print reader,. However, some models in  dv6xxx series (usually BestBuy special, super sales models - NOT regular purchases) require a different Top Panel. Check that this is the proper part for your application.
