Chinese Spinach Green Jade Archaic Style Censer / Incense Burner, Qianlong Mark

MATERIAL(S): Nephrite Jade
COLOR(S): Mottled spinach green color with areas of off-white throughout.
DESCRIPTION: Compressed globular form with everted rim and raised foot-rim carved of separate matching jade stone. Carved and incised with an archaic style taotie mask design. The base contains an incised Qianlong seal mark (but we believe this piece to be late 19th to early 20th century).
HEIGHT: 8.3 cm (3.3 in), DIAMETER: 16.9 cm (6.7 in)
TOTAL WEIGHT: 2 lbs 10.6 oz
CONDITION: Natural veins / natural cracks and inclusions throughout jade. Small chip along mouth-rim at natural inclusion 1.5 mm in size. Small chip along foot-rim at natural inclusion 3 mm in size. (SEE PHOTOS BELOW)
