Wood We Carry We rarely accept a tree that is less than 38" across and the average is 40-54" and we also do not take "clear wood", wood that has no special figure or rich color to it. We most often sell Black Walnut, English Walnut, American Elm, Slippery Elm, Maple, Chestnut, Magnolia, Yulan Magnolia, Common Apple, Sycamore(if figured),Black Cherry, Box Elder, English Oak, Coast Redwood, Hickory, Pecan, a variety of cedars and burl. Shipping, Handling & Insurance We ONLY charge actual shipping costs; we personally absorb both insurance and ebays tax on your shipping. To ensure correct payment please request an invoice and wait for us to bill you especially if you have multiple items; if you are still bidding on items just request an invoice when you are finished. We will combine orders for up to 7 days. We try to cut so that our blanks will fit into flat-rate boxes but that is not always possible with the larger blanks. If you purchase a large blank and want it trimmed to fit into a flat rate box please let us know when the auction ends and we will accommodate your request to reduce shipping costs. If you are local you are welcomed to pick up your items at our shop, just let us know so that we can be expecting you; there are no pick up fees. PEN BLANK COMBINED SHIPPING- We can fit approx 20 of our oversized blanks, without packing material, in a small flat rate envelope. More than 2 pen blank auctions will have to either go priority, med-lg priority flat rate or parcel post. It is in your best interest, to save the most on shipping, to purchase for example 5 auctions rather than 3 because they both have to ship in a medium flat rate. We will do the best we can to combine shipping but you will not save much on shipping if purchasing 3 auctions. Quality Assurance We cut all of our wood seasoned and seal it with anchor seal immediately; larger blanks are shrink wrapped before shipment. Seasoned means it has been down for an extended period of time, usually 1-5+ years, and it is dimensionally stable it does not mean it is dry. We do everything in our power to supply a quality product that is free from defects, other than our sometimes out of square cutting. If you feel the item you received is not as described or defective we have a 14 day return policy and will work with you to make things right.
