This book is

"The Holy Bible," containing the old and new testaments: Translated out of the original tongues; and with the former translations diligently compared and revised, by his Majesty's special command.

Printed by George E. Eyre and William Spottiswoode. There is no year of printing present, but the bible is definitely Victorian (c1880), as there is an ink inscription to first free endpaper, which is dated 1883.

It is bound in full black leather binding with yapped/overlapping edges (see pictures) - the page fore edges are gilt edged, and there is gilt lettering to the spine.

With dimensions to the book of 7" x 5" x 1.5" thick, and it weighs 500g unpacked.
