This is a really neat vintage tin Marx "National Defense" machine gun target practice toy game. Piece is in good condition, complete and original. Top of game is a bit bent on the edge and the bottom edge where the bb's hit has some paint loss. All the characters and targets inside the hood or range are in good working condition including the bell. Machine gun crank turns nicely with the pop noise and fires the bb's into the target with good velocity. The bb's return down the shoot and reload automatically keeping the gun firing as long as the crank is turned. BB's are included but not original to this game as can be expected. The yellow cover piece on the down shoot is missing a small tab on the top and side but stays in place as it should. Really a neat piece that works correctly and makes a great, colorful display piece as well. Measures 23" long and 12.5" wide. Check out the other vintage tin toys I have up for sale.
