Just the sweetest thing, buried in the bottom of a ladies sewing box this little cloth tape measure has been well used. Encased in brass which is dented on both sides holding a cloth measure tape which unwinds/winds up perfectly up to 6 meters. The winding handle has had a screw replaced which I suspect has kept it in such good working condition (see all photographs). The measurements ink has faded a little towards the beginning of the tape but is still perfectly readable. Hard to find these in working condition that aren't jammed up! Lovely for adding to a collection of sewing ephemera, give as a special gift.
