Sold-Out at all levels of distribution and originally limited to only 1000 worldwide this one is numbered as a very rare MARVEL SAMPLE and comes complete in its unnumbered box of only which a handful exist. This edition ultimately holds the lowest possible run produced by Sideshow. Standing an impressive 26 inches in height overall from the bottom of the base to the top of his head. 11 inches wide at its widest point, and 16 inches in depth. Sideshow Collectibles and Legacy Effects are proud to bring you the Destroyer Maquette from the blockbuster Thor film which debuted in theaters in 2011. Sideshow's team collaborated with Legacy Effects to create this incredible maquette, which was used to develop the original screen-used Destroyer, capturing all the detail of the Destoyer's legendary armor. This incredible Maquette features a battery powered light-up element, that illuminates the Destroyer's eyes. Battery compartment will require 2 AA batteries (not included). Each piece is individually painted and finished, each with its own unique quality and detail that is the trademark of a handcrafted Sideshow Collectibles product. With his identity as Iron Man exposed, Tony Stark now faces government pressure to share his Iron Man armor technology with the military. Fearing that his powerful invention will be corrupted, Stark is unwilling to hand over the Iron Man technology and comes under scrutiny with the press. His own health begins to crumble amid the defamation, and Stark returns to his old playboy ways, appointing his once-assistant Pepper Potts as CEO of Stark Industries and hiring a young woman named Natalie Rushman as his new gal Friday. After several threats and near-devastating incidents, Stark's friendships begin to crumble.
When an intoxicated Stark dons the Iron Man suit and finally goes too far, USAF Lt. Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes, an old friend, meets him head-on wearing an alternate version of the armor known as War Machine. The two battle it out, War Machine eventually subduing Iron Man and leaving his old friend behind, disgraced. But when a new enemy threatens to destroy Stark Expo, killing thousands, Iron Man and War Machine team up to defeat the villain known as Whiplash.
War Machine (James Rupert Rhodes) is a fictional character, a comic book superhero appearing in comic books set in the Marvel Comics universe. The character of James Rhodes first appeared in Iron Man #118 (January 1979) by David Michelinie, John Byrne and Bob Layton. The War Machine armor, which became Rhodes' signature armored battlesuit, was designed by Len Kaminski and Kevin Hopgood.
Also known by his nickname Rhodey, Rhodes has been a featured character in the Iron Man animated series, Iron Man: Armored Adventures, and The Invincible Iron Man animated film. He was played by actor Terrence Howard in the 2008 film Iron Man and by Don Cheadle in the sequel Iron Man 2.

When you go to checkout to request a total after you have made all of your purchases, Boondock Collectibles will combine your orders and apply shipping discounts based on the actual weight and/or size of the parcel.
On combined orders, Please note that not all items can be combined. Most if not all Full Size Statues and larger items alike cannot be combined and must ship separately due to their size. Please email with any questions.
RETURN POLICY : We guarantee that your item will arrive as stated in the auction. We only accept returns on defective or 'not as advertised' items. We do not offer returns on buyer's remorse purchases. There are NO RETURNS on Original Artwork and One-Of-A-Kind items. Please be sure that you completely understand what you are bidding on before committing to the purchase. We have found through experience that an informed buyer is usually a happy buyer. We welcome any questions that might assist you in selecting the right item for you.
If an item arrives defective or 'not as advertised', the bidder/buyer must initiate contact within 5 days of having received the item. We will determine the best method for resolving the issue and return contact in a timely manner. Once a return has been authorized by Boondock Collectibles, the bidder/buyer has 10 days to return the item.
If there is a problem with your purchase let us know and we will work to remedy the issue. If it is our fault, we'll fix it. Our goal is to propagate trust in on-line trading. Some of our best online transactions have been those where a customer has allowed us to fix our mistake and make it right.
