A delightful and amusing oil on panel painting by George Derville Rowlandson (1861-1928) depicting a goose menacing a group of small puppies as they cower by a barn door.

Condition:

Painting and frame are both in very good condition

Measurements:

Painting measures 53 x 42cm and the overall frame 69 x 58cm.

Biography:

George Derville Rowlandson (1861–1928) was a British painter.  He is best known for his equestrian portraits.  Some of his work can be found at the Museum of Polo and Hall of Fame in Lake Worth, Florida.
