CHANEL Paris No5 No22 Bois des Iles PURE PARFUM EXTRAIT, 

100% authentic vintage, the Cuir de Russie is empty (I have been praying I would unearth an untouched Cuir de Russie to complete the set, but I have waited 8 years so far, so I am now throwing in the towel....if you have one it would make a priceless heirloom set )

IMPORTANT A leading perfume blogger states that all vintage Chanel bottles should have a single VB or BR logo, this is palpably incorrect & she has not updated this info in years.  Pre war, CHANEL had bottles made by countless producers, I have the identical CHANEL bottles stamped with HP for Pochet et Courval, who were based in France & who produced bottles for Guerlain amoung others.

Please note, there is NO volume measurements printed on the box, but these bottles held 7ml or aprox 1/4 OZ 

Incredibly rare, & to find a complete set with three untouched bottles with their flat oval stoppers all still tightly sealed with original Baudruchage onion skin & cord is almost unheard of, the 4 bottles standing at 5.9cm (2.3").  CHANEL FRANCE & the number 6 in raised relief to all bottle bases

Dated (I believe) to around the 1940s, the box has a mat grainy finish so typical of the era . IF anyone could help shed light on the exact age, then please do so, & I will send you a nice treat by way of a thankyou

The box measures exactly 10.2cm wide x 6.6cm high x 2.8cm deep (4"x 2.4" x 1.1" ), the bottles fitting it like a glove, the 3 full bottles containing (pre drop in level) 7 precious mls of ancient heaven, please note the slight drop in level in the Bois de Iles.

The bottles are NEAR MINT & sealed save missing, cracked or damaged wax seals, with print flat to the mat 1.3cm x 1.4cm (.3"x.4") rectangular small cartouche, the inside of the box is stained to the left though would display very well if open for the stains are hidden.   

There is a clear drop in level regards the Bois de Iles, but it is probably less than a ml, but this rarely effects the quality of Chanel parfum extrtait, if anything they may be slighty more concentrated,  oddly enough, having handled & owned various Chanel vintage parfums a drop in level seems to be the norm for Cuir de Russie, & this bottle which was more than 50% full when I aquired the evaporated in days .  

No 2707 printed onto the base in white paint & Made in France stamped to base of the box. Chanels finest,  the most iconic fragrances in the world & it's almost impossible to believe that these particular formulas will NEVER be repeated again by Chanel, as created when a parfum was a parfum was a parfum & long before the lunatic age of the new reformulations,
