Buchi Rotovapor Heated Water
I picked this unit up from a local "BIG TEN"
University Surplus Store.
This unit is in working condition and very clean.
I believe the dial to set the temperature is not
accurate.
I tried to record the temperature using a meat
thermometer (it gives an estimated temperature).
I got the following estimated temperatures in
Fahrenheit:
20 = 160° F
30 = 170° F
40 = 185° F
50 = 212° F (this was estimated as the water started
to boil at this setting.
This was as high as I was able to test the bath.
There are two threaded shafts taped to the bottom of
the bath that screw into the bottom if you need them (see last photo).
