This auction is for a very rare thick wooden puzzle of a cat that looks a lot like Felix the Cat and can stand up as a decoration. It was made by the N.N. Hill Brass Co. and stands 6" high x 5" across paws x nearly 7/8" thick. It has thick paper over wood and is in nice condition, with minimal wear to paper. Displays great. No maker's mark or sticker ; seller has another " N.N. Hill Brass C." toy puzzle up for auction which has the company's maker's mark and was found with this cat. They are made identically with wood, etc., and this was how seller realized the maker. This company made quality toys from 1889 until the early 60's. Judging by graphics and style, this appears to have been made in the 1930's/40's.
