ABOUT ME: RECENTLY RETIRED FROM TEACHING.  I HAVE BEEN SELLING ON EBAY THE PAST 14 YEARS. I SELL IN A WIDE VARIETY OF GENRES FROM ROCK TO CLASSICAL. I try to represent each album or book as honestly as possible. I listen to each and every album I sell.  I want you to know what you are buying. A majority of records I list  are for the casual listener, meaning - there will be some snap, crackle, pops, there may be an occasional skip. Looking for mint? Unless I post a brand new copy you won't find it here. I price each album as to how much I would pay for it and even if you don't like that, make an offer I can't refuse.

RECORDS (VINYLS) ARE VISUALLY GRADED USING THE RATING SYSTEM BELOW:

MINT (M)---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.

PLAYGRADE - NOT GIVEN ON THIS LEVEL AS VINYL HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED.

NEAR MINT (NM)---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

PLAYGRADE - VINYL PLAYS PERFECT, NO NOISE SKIPS OR STICKS WHATSOEVER. THIS RATING I PROBABLY WOULDN'T GIVE ANY RECORD AS THEY ALL HAVE SOME FLAW.

EXCELLENT (V++)or (NM-) Better than VG+ but not as good as NM, there may be an issue that disqualifies it for the NM rating.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original luster may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

PLAYGRADE - THIS IS THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF RATING I WILL GIVE A VINYL. A PLAYGRADE OF THIS LEVEL MEANS THIS VINYL PLAYS CLEAN, LITTLE OR NO BACKGROUND HISS, SNAP CRACKLES OR POPS AND NO STICKS OR SKIPS

VERY GOOD (VG)---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

PLAYGRADE ON THIS LEVEL MEANS THERE IS SOME BACKGROUND NOISE IN THE FORM OF SNAP, CRACKLE OR POPS AND A POSSIBLE ONE OR TWO STICKS OR SKIPS.

GOOD (G)---- Well played with little luster and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

PLAYGRADE - VINYLS ON THIS LEVEL WILL HAVE NOTICEABLE BACKGROUND NOISE AND POSSIBLY A NUMBER OF STICKS OR SKIPS

FAIR (F) - Well played with surface noise evident and a few sticks on no more than three of the tracks. Cover is clean showing little wear but the spine or ends may be split.

VERY NOTICABLE BACKGROUND NOISE WITH MANY STICKS OR SKIPS PRESENT.

POOR (P)---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Fair" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws.

? PLAYGRADE - THE VINYL IS UNPLAYABLE WITH MANY MANY STICKS OR SKIPS. ONLY VALUE WOULD BE IS FOR THE LABEL AND RECORD JACKET.
