Item is a Crystal glass sculpture of our Milky Way galaxy. Made from a very high quality optical glass block. It has been internally laser etched with the 3D model of the Milky Way.

Please note:

The item measures 1.77" x 3.54" x 3.54"and is solid glass, not acrylic so it is rather heavy.

Data for this sculpture comes from the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. We can't see all of our own galaxy but this is a well-researched model of how we think it must be.

The bright stars along the spiral arms, the delicate disk, and the strongly barred core are drawn here as they would look from intergalactic space.

The piece looks best in a darkened room and illuminated from below.
