I have a sweet folk art doll for you to consider today.

She measures 18” tall.

Made from aged osnaburg she has a hand stitched face with old buttons for hair and a large bow cut from a old doily.

Her dress is made from a old linen with the original cotton lace around the bottom edge and more cotton lace sewn around her sleeves. At her neck is a crocheted flower with a rhinestone pin in the center. She also wears a double crumpled ribbon bow around her neck.

She wears a apron cut from a old doily that is attached with 2 old buttons.

She wears pantaloons with hand stitching around the edge and I have gathered them around her legs.

Her shoes are painted and aged with a crumpled ribbon bow sewn to the side of each shoe. 

Rusty pinned to her sleeve is a old photo, I have signed and dated the back.

She has been dusted with cinnamon for the prim look.

Tuck her on  a old chair or bench, sit her on a side table….so many ideas!
