Vintage SEIKO 7F18-8A00 Gold Tone Moonphase Watch w/ Daylight Indicator 

This is an awesome and rare gents' Seiko moon phase calendar watch, with the 7F18 quartz calibre. This beauty is in a gold plated finish and with an integrated bracelet. There are 2 subdials (4 if you're counting the moonphase and daylight subdials). At 2 there is the moonphase function. This is a true moonphase, and the moon disc will make one rotation admist its field of stars every 29.5 days. The 5 subdial tells the date.The 7 subdial, numbered at 1 through 31, tracks the days of each month. And the 10 subdial is a daytime and nighttime indicator, which rotates and displays either the sun or the moon. Please see pics for condition. This is graceful timepiece for those who are conscious of their place in the universe.

Note: Will only fit a 6.5" wrist at maximum

Condition Specs: 

1) In working condition*. Keeps time, day, date, moonphase, and daytime/nightime indicator. *There is only one functional flaw--the crown (upper right) that controls the daylight indicator does not respond. Therefore, the daylight indicator cannot be adjusted. I have not attempted repairing this problem. One simple workaround is possible--installing the battery at the correct time of day. This shouldn't be a problem, I believe. 

2) In great cosmetic condition. There is only very minor handling wear in the case and bracelet. The clasp has two very shallow marks. The crystal is perfect. There is no gold plating loss on this watch! None. There is one major cosmetic flaw, though--the caseback has acquired a few etchings from its previous owner. If you take a close look at the caseback, you will an in-depth history of battery changes and the type of battery this watch takes--all etched from the previous owner. I believe these markings can be carefully removed with a dremel rotary tool.

3) I believe a few bracelet links are missing, since this watch will only fit a 6.5" wrist at maximum
