Vintage bag from Meyers
Bonnie Cashin from Coach Bags was a designer for Meyers when she started her career.
This fabulous bag is jet black sturdy nylon and has the most fabulous goldtone cat for a clap.
It has a frame format and snaps open and closed.
The goldtone continues across the top of the bag.
Detailed cat with long tail and red jeweled eyes.
Strap measures 14”
Bag measures 6” high by 8” wide by 2” deep

Black satin interior stamped “Meyers Made in USA”

Excellent, clean condition inside and outside.
I do not usually sell vintage bags (I have sold hundreds of contemporary bags)
This one, and it’s association with Bonnie Cashin, I found to be special.
