Walter Hiers was an American silent film actor who died of pneumonia aged 39. He began his film career
with the Biograph Company under the direction of D.W. Griffith. In his twenty year career, from 1912 to  
 1932, he starred in 101 films. In 1925 he made Excuse Me that starred Norma Shearer.




Born: 1893, Cordele, Georgia; died: 1933, Los Angeles, California.
