Star Trek The Movie XI Trading Cards Starfleet Badge Relic Card RC3 Serial Number 17/40

And YES, this is the only number 17 RC3 Card in existence

This card was not inserted into packs - this is a dealer incentive card.

This card is hand numbered # 17 of 40, only 40 RC3 cards were produced - Because that is the number of Movie-Worn Starfleet Badges Paramount Studios provided to Rittenhouse Archives.

Steve Charendoff wrote the following message on 11th May 2009 on the Rittenhouse Archives message board - "In case people are wondering, here is the breakdown of how many of each of the Starfleet Badges were included among the 6-case incentives: 15 Medical Badges, 10 Command Badges, 10 Sciences Badges and 5 Engineering Badges. I hope that helps."

Of the 40 Badges/Movie Worn Props, this particular card is limited to only 10.  The card for sale is a Sciences Badge.  There were actually 4 different Movie Worn Badges/Props provided by Paramount - these were engineering, medical, command, and sciences. And although I am not 100 percent on the breakdown of the 40 badges, I think it is as follows:

Engineering - 5
Medical - 15
Command - 10
Sciences - 10

Total RC3 Badges/Movie Props = 40

The badge up for sale is also an authentic, actor worn, screen filmed Movie Prop,  provided by Paramount Studios to Rittenhouse Archives for the sole purpose of making a truly unique collectible trading card.
