Assi Dayan (born Assaf Dayan) was an Israeli actor, screenwriter, director and producer. He was 
 the youngest son of Israeli military leader and politician Moshe Dayan. Early in his career he 
co-starred with Melina Mercouri in Jules Dassin's Promise at Dawn (1970). He was known for 
 Out of Sight (2006), Things Behind the Sun (2006) and My Father My Lord (2007).



Born: 1945, Nahalal, British Mandate of Palestine (now Israel); died 2014, Tel Aviv, Israel.
