Antique Edwardian Platinum 3 Diamond Filigree Ring

Dates to the Edwardian era, circa 1910.

Crafted in platinum - hallmarked ’10% IRID PLAT’, and bearing the maker’s mark of Byard Brogan of Philadelphia, PA, USA.

Gorgeous filigree setting, with open work on the top and bottom and shoulders. Etched and detailed band, with a pattern that continues all the way around the band. Set with three incredible (and very clean) Old European cut diamonds - two measuring approximately 3.6 mm (estimated at 0.17 carats each) and one measuring 4.1 mm (estimated at 0.28 carats). Total combined estimated diamond weight is 0.62 carats.

The front of the ring measures 0.33” from top to bottom, with a band that narrows to 0.07” at the very back. This piece weighs 3.2 grams and is a size 5.5.

Condition is very good, with no damages or repairs. The ring does appear to have been sized (smaller) at some point in time.
