• Lightweight Carbon Lite Sole maximizes power transfer with optimized biomechanics:
The Carbon Lite Sole is engineered for optimal power transfer while protecting foot health with biomechanically correct fit. It is specifically engineered for high-performance, high-mileage cyclists, with tremendous stiffness for maximum power transfer and some controlled flex in the toe area that biomechanically relieves stress on the plantar tendon and helps promote circulation.
The Carbon Lite Sole is handmade exclusively of sheets of T700 carbon fiber in a 3k weave pattern (competitors' carbon sole have little carbon fiber content, or user cheaper, lower-modulus T300 carbon fiber). Sheets of T700 carbon fiber are laid up by hand of opposing angles that maximize resistance to mechanical stress and allows for slight amount of controlled flex in the toe (typically layup schedule uses 0? for unidirectional strength, 45? degrees for torsional stiffness, and 22.5? for impact resistance). The sole is heat- and compression-molded with longitudinal corrugations, further increasing mechanical stiffness without added material weight.
An anti-slip toe insert and replaceable polyurethane heel pad are incorporated into the Carbon Light Sole, for walkability.
The Carbon Lite Sole is compatible with the best pedal systems available, and includes a printed 10mm lateral and fore/aft cleat alignment scale on the sole as well as the Look Memory Eyelet for easy cleat alignment and replacement.
• Adjustable Heel Security System prevents power-sapping heel lift:

In 2006, SIDI introduced the Heel Security System, first in prototype Genius 6.6 ridden to victory in the Giro d'Italia, and then as a technical feature on four of SIDI's top production shoes. This elegantly simple solution addressed a critical aspect of performance fit, virtually eliminating power-robbing heel lift.
The Adjustable HSS reinforces the top of the heel cup, and adjusts to securely close the backf the shoe around the rider's heel, just above the calcaneus (heel bone). The Adjustable HSS provides 6mm of lateral adjustment on either side of the heel, improving power transfer and comfort by eliminating heel lift. Turning the HSS adjustment screws counterclockwise tightens the heel retention device, a clockwise turn of the screw opens up the heel area, Each side of the heel can be adjusted independently for an absolute perfect fit.
Other companies have attempted to replicate the heel of the globally patented HSS by using heat-moldable heel cups or internal grippers, but none have matched the HSS's functionality, light weight and ease of use. Like most SIDI small parts, the Adjustable HSS is replaceable, and also available as an aftermarket upgrade for some 2007 thru 2009 SIDI models.
• Patented Techno II Buckle System and Caliper Buckle for easy on-bike fit adjustment:

The very first monofliament line (fishing line) buckle was created by SIDI in 1993, revolutionizing shoe design with the first-ever precision closure system. The latest version of that system, SIDI's Techno II Buckle, provides even pressure distribution with fine-tooth ratchet adjustment on string tension, for ultra-smooth adjustment that helps the shoe's upper conform to the shape of the foot for a customized fit.
SIDI only patented the monofliament closure in Italy, allowing other companies to develop their own monofilament systems. However, the Techno II Buckle remains the leader both in ideal placement of monofilament line (the transitional instep area), and ease of use. Like most SIDI small parts, the Techno II Buckle is serviceable and replaceable.

We ship most orders from our warehouse in Southern California Monday-Friday and tracking information will be emailed to you. If you do not receive a tracking number, please check your junk/spam folder prior to contacting us. All orders paid using PayPal will only be shipped to confirmed addresses as required by Paypal’s Protection Policies.

In cases where multiple items are ordered, we may ship from multiple locations to save transit time in getting your order to you. Therefore, it may not be possible to bundle orders for combined shipping, unless you notify us that you agree to extend shipping times.
Will Call Pickup:
We cannot accept PayPal as a form of payment for physical Will Call Pickups since Paypal requires tracking numbers to qualify for Paypal’s Protection Policy.

We ship to these addresses using United States Postal Service (USPS) unless you request another method (which may increase the shipping cost).
 
Signature Required:
All orders over $249.99 USD will be shipped signature required, as per PayPal’s Protection Policies.
 
Lost or Damaged Items:
In the rare event that your package is lost or damaged, please proceed according to the following protocol: If the parcel appears to be lost based on the tracking information from the carrier or if it has been more than 15 business days since we shipped the package, please contact us to begin a trace on the shipment. NOTE: USPS Loss claims can take 21-60 days for USPS to complete their end of the trace investigation. We cannot begin an insurance claim until USPS deems the package lost.
If the package is visibly damaged upon delivery, (Note: Only open the package in the presence of the carrier). Otherwise, do not attempt to open it, leave the package in as-received condition and contact the carrier within 1 business day to report the damaged package. After contacting the carrier, contact us immediately to begin an insurance claim. Please include your full name, address, phone number, and eBay item number with your notification.
Failure to report loss or damage in a timely manner may result in denial of the claim. You have up to 5 days after receipt of goods to notify us if the item is damaged and/or incorrect.
Once an insurance claim is approved, we will replace the item in question or issue a refund for the value of the claim if the items cannot be replaced.
 
International Shipping Policy
All International Shipments are sent via United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail International (except Mexico which is by Fedex International). The purchase price of the items will be stated on the customs form according to federal law. This also assures accurate valuation for insurance claims in case the item is lost or damaged.
All International shipments are sent from our California warehouse only and may require additional days to consolidate to this location.
You may be subject to import duties and taxes and we cannot be held liable for any charges and/or any delays caused by customs within your country. We have no control over this and you would need to contact your local customs to find what, if any, charges/delays there may be. When ordering from us, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
