Another offering from the huge Civil War Veteran/GAR collection that I have been selling over the past few years. This is a very nice Souvenir Canteen from the 27th national GAR Encampment in Indianapolis, Indiana 1893. Canteen measures approx. 4 3/8" in diameter and is nickel-plated brass with a brass disc on each side - one side reads "GAR 1861 to 1865 - 1893", while the other reads "Twenty Seventh National Encampment - Indianapolis 1893". Canteen has numerous dents plus some wearthrough to the nickel plating. Inspection/return
