These are no mainstream boat rods. Not if the extensive input and testing from Stevie Souter is anything to go by
Designed longer than normal, they are dedicated models for the competition and experienced boat angler.
With the benefit of X45, each uses a noticeable degree of backbone to deliver an enhanced and direct feel of the rig, yet the tip still maintains that responsiveness that is needed. Each model also allows for use with a bigger range of lead sizes; a feature that is to specifically aide the angler who needs to fish through a mixed range of tidal conditions.
The longer 11’ Sport model takes its influence from the continental style rods and is highly suited to propelling the lead away from the boat or for accommodating altogether longer tails for improved presentation.
As for the field testing it went very well with Stevie enjoying a tremendous ‘Tournament’ win at the 2015 EFSA cod championships.

I don't know how you feel but I absolutely LOVE receiving parcels by post. It can be quite exciting to open up the package to see what's inside. Almost as good as Christmas :-)
