Handsomely bound with a gilt leaf border around an illustration of Napoleon astride a galloping horse. Gilt lettering on the front cover and spine. All page edges are gilt.
The illustrations are absolutely superb! There are 32 full-page color illustrations and 4 double-page color illustrations.
A fine addition for your bookshelf!
Condition: Corners lightly bumped, a few ripples in the cloth of the back cover (see pictures), pages a little age-toned, otherwise in very good condition with a solid binding and clean pages.
