Simply set the hand to the full tide position at exactly high tide for your chosen location, then throw away your tide table!

The quartz-driven hand will rotate every 12 hours 25 minutes around the fascia, giving you the state of the tide at a glance.

Redundant plastic coffee cups, plant pots, seed trays and yogurt pots etc. are

 collected throughout the UK from the "Pot to Product" scheme carried out by

 participating garden centres and shops. These pots and cups etc. are then cleaned,

 sorted and shredded, then melted down into pea sized pellets.

 A small amount of dye is added to the mix to provide the "slate" effect. 

 The material can then be formed into all sorts of new products!
