The item up for sale is a vintage amber bottle with a cork stopper & an unbroken paper seal over the stopper in its original box with its directions sheet made circa 1924.

The box reads in part : "Mary T. Goldman's Gray Hair Color Restorer Extra Strong for Black Hair.  Price $1.50 Per Bottle.  Prepared only by Mary T. Goldman Co. St. Paul, Minn."

The bottle measures  5 1/2 inches high X 2 1/2 inches wide X 1 1/2 inches deep.

The bottle is in very good condition.  The label is lightly age toned and the edges are starting to peel off.

The box measures 6 1/2 inches high X 3 inches wide X 2 inches deep.  The box is in fair / poor condition due to  tears on the top edges, the upper flaps are all detached, soiling, dings on the rear edges, a tear through the detached top flap, and wear to the edges.

The directions sheet measures 15 X 4 inches when unfolded.  It is in good / fair condition due to age toning, and creases.

The National Museum of Medicine has the same advertising package in their collection, showing the head of a woman with thick shoulder-length hair one side of which is gray, the other restored to its natural color, which they date 1924.
