(2) 100 lb-120 lb Bent Butt Blue Marlin Tournament Edition rods made with high carbon composite blank with span wrap construction to minimize side loads and twist. The span wrap construction is important when a fish takes off to the side. The rod will resist twist better than any rod we have tested. Bent butt rod measures at a comfortable 5'9" with the butt attached. Butt of the rod has black leather for comfort and non slip grip. There is a gimbal cross on the end of the rod butt for rod holders or fighting chairs. This is our finest Blue Marlin Tournament Edition bent butt rod. It is ideal for Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna and record Wahoo. The rod also features 4 wide mouth wind on leader roller guides capable of passing the largest wind on leaders, and a double roller guide closest to the reel seat and a wind on roller tip. All rollers are stainless for braid or mono line and all guides double wrapped for strength. Not only does this rod perform but it is one of the best looking bent butt rods. A set of these on a tournament boat is quite the site. Excellent back bone and sensitive tip for the best action of and rod we have constructed.
