BEAUTIFUL GOOD-SIZED PIECE FRENCH TOILE DE JOUY c1830, COUNTRY VIGNETTES |

This is a beautiful good-sized piece of 19th century French fine cotton toile de Jouy, with country scenes and over-sized florals. It is hand quilted with a thin layer of fleece batting and lined with cotton.
The condition is mostly quite good with some uneven fading, with some marks and holes, mostly across the top left, some piecing with an attempt at pattern matching in places, see photos. A lovely piece in a good shade of pink suitable for framing, study or reference.
It measures about 35" by 17" or 89 cms by 43 cms. Thank you for looking.
