Those of you who are a military veteran or ex military, or a real outdoor enthusiast will remember that our company Special Air Sea Services in Lancaster were noted internationally for the quality and innovative design of our own range of military kit manufactured in our factory firstly at Saint George's Works and then at Sylvester Street Works in Lancaster.In our own way we made our contribution to Military Kit History. As like so many in the UK we were unable recruit UK manufacturing skills so rather than manufacture overseas and possibly compromise quality we decided to conclude manufacturing.

So we have decided to start clearing our pattern and design room collection, mostly our own manufactured kit, but also some items of kit bought as a reference library. All kit is a single one off item only from the pattern room collection.

All the items that we sell will come with a signed certificate of authenticity on the Special Air Sea Services Letterhead stating that the kit is ex pattern and design room collection.

Vintage manufactured South Vietnamese / US Green Beret pattern of Tiger Stripe Camo Suit; Shirt and Trousers.

Excellent Unissued Condition.

This pattern of Tiger Stripe was closely modelled on what collectors refer to as the the "classic" South Vietnamese Marine Corps Tiger Stripe which was often favoured by the US Green Berets and others. This is not a cheap copy but many moons ago printing screens were specially made,and was printed at  at the same commercial fabric printers in Rochdale who also printed DPM Camo for the British Army and was printed to the same standard.This is printed onto a strong denim type of cotton material.We only produced a limited number of garments in this camo.

There are no labels in the garment, and the odd tailors chalk marks, but otherwise overall excellent unissued condition.

           Length down back - base of collar to hem measurement approx  26"  or  66 cm

                   Inside leg measurement approx  32"  or 81 cm
