Pretty early 20th century Copeland Spode square dish with fluted sides and rim decorated with an oriental scene of asiatic pheasants up a tree surrounded by flowers. Lovely colours of iron red, brown, yellow, pink, pale green and aqua with a reddish brown rim. Made for retail by Waring and Gillows and fully marked to the back. Impressed date mark for June 1909.


It measures 8 1/2" wide and 1 3/8" high. Condition is good with no damage. There is some surface wear from age use.
